What About Somalia?

Somalia. For the past two decades, the Horn of Africa nation has been gridlocked in a civil war stemming from an internal struggle for political power. With the whole world watching, the International Community strives to find a solution. Progress, however, has been very slow, begging the question: is the UN and the International Community doing enough? We take a closer look.

Chika Moses is a master's candidate at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism with a focus on video and digital journalism. She plans on going back to her home country, Nigeria, in 2011 to pursue work as a video journalist.
